Prior researches have proved that job intrinsic motivation contributes to predictturnover intention of staff and reduce their absenteeism rate. So job satisfaction canbring positive influence for the interests of enterprises. Foreign scholars have confirmedthat job intrinsic motivation will positively affect job satisfaction. But there are lacks ofstudies of the role that moderator variables played in the above relationship. Based onSelf-Determination Theory, Success to the Successful model, Resource ConservationTheory and Expectation Theory, this study explores the relationship between jobintrinsic motivation and job satisfaction in Chinese enterprises, and the moderatingeffect that family interference with work and relationship conflict played.All data in this study come from a structured questionnaire and all the scalesinvolved in this study are written in English. So a scientific translation method isapplied to translate them into Chinese. This study measured all multi-item scales on aLikert scale (1means strongly disagree and7means strongly agree). The validsample consisted of365employees’ questionnaires in10IT companies around China.SPSS19.0and AMOS18.0were taken into data analysis,and we examined the positiveeffect between job intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction and the moderating effect offamily interference with work and relationship conflict by multiple regression.The conclusions show that:(1)Job intrinsic motivation will positively affect jobsatisfaction;(2)Family interference with work moderates the connection between jobintrinsic motivation and job satisfaction: compared with high family interference withwork, the positive effect that job intrinsic motivation exerts on job satisfaction under thecondition of low family interference with work would be stronger;(3)Relationshipconflict moderates the connection between job intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction:compared with high relationship conflict, the positive effect that job intrinsic motivationexerts on job satisfaction under the condition of low relationship conflict would bestronger. In the last place, contributions to theories and practices were discussed,alsothe positive future researches were given in the end.
