Hunan College of Foreign Studies that grew out of the Liu Yang Foreign School which was established in1993.The college switched gradually from extensive expansion to connotative development through nearly twenty years. The purpose of the study is to reflex and research those problems generated by strategic selection of civilian-run colleges and universities in depth by means of probing into strategy of the college’internationalization and combining with the present situation of development of civilian-run colleges and universities. Using the theory of Enterprise Management as a reference, introducing the purpose and meaning of research, inducing research review at home and aboard, analyzing current situation and problems that existed in stratety of civilian-run colleges and universities, this paper raised a model of stratety of Hunan College of Foreign Studies’internationalization to analyze, select and implement strategically by means of Management.The intent of this paper is to promote Hunan College of Foreign Studies to highlight its distinguishing feature, to advance the whole competitive power and achieve strategic objectives through studying the stratety of its internationalization.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is an introduction about the writing’s background, purpose, meaning, and research status quo at home and abroad.The second part is an main illustration about theoretical basis of research.The third part mainly analysis the enlightenment of the international strategic implementation for the civilian-run colleges and universities at home and abroad; The fourth part gives specific analysis of feasibility of international strategy for Hunan College of Foreign Studies through its status analysis,external environment analysis (PEST analysis),competitive environmental analysis (Porter five competitive analysis) and market environment SWOT analysis.The last part builds a model of strategy of Hunan College of Foreign Studies’internationalition to achieve its international strategic selection and implementation.
