In the background of curriculum reform and the emphasisation on teacher education, a physics teaching and research group in Beijing is selected. with the use of action research method, the study on the formation of teaching research ability lasted for more than a year. The members of the group and internal and external problems are identified.16teacher’s paper was published at the end of the study, which suggests that their ability of teaching research gained development. Finally, the results are discussed.literature reviews are about the aspects of theoretical study on the professional development of teachers, research of the professional development of physical teachers, the research of the formation and development of physical teachers’teaching and research capacity, research and teaching organization of teaching, study on the school-based teaching research in China. The definition of related concepts are based on the theory of evolution of teacher professional development and making teaching research papers as a symbol of teachers’teaching and research ability.In this study, there are three routes.1:Understand the concept and intention of professor X, assist to carry out the research work, and exert active influence on professor X.2:As the transfer and Implementation, I study on the object of study, and take the initiative to retreat and supplement.3:To observe the intervention process of professor X and make a judgement and evaluation.After describing the mode and process, physical teaching and research group of teachers team group, The problems existing in the team, challenges, the papers are discussed.The conclusions are:1After more than a year of intervention, physical teachers ability of teaching research has made the preliminary development.2Writing teaching research papers is effective way of developing physics teaching research ability.3There is considerable difficulties in developing physics teaching research ability.Finally suggestions and reflection are made about the possibility of teacher change, The necessary of consciousness of the teacher occupation development, The necessary of reform of the high school system, the difficulties and the direction of teacher education reform, reflection on research method, and limitations of the study and the problems that need further study.
