Reading teaching is a very impor tant patr of Chinese teaching in senior highschool. The fundamental purpose of reading teaching is to cultivate student’sreading ability, improve the quality of language. With the rapid development ofinformation technology, has entered the era of new media now,changcd their wayof reading and reading habits. In this context, the high school Chinese readingteaching the problem than ever and more complex. On the one hand, studentsread channel increased, no longer subject to time,place limitations, reading canbe carried out; on the other hand,the student’s reading showing superficialcharacteristics, fragmentation, picture etc. This gives us the high school Chinesereading teaching brings new opportunities and challenges.This paper attempts to teaching in the new media era background of Chinesereading in high school, the high school as the object of study, through literatureresearch, survey research, action research, to explore the effective strategies inthe new media era of ordinary high school Chinese reading teaching. This paperconsists of four parts:Chapter1: introduction. Under the new media era, work in ordinary highschool Chinese reading teaching strategy research background, significance,purpose, ideas and methods.Chapter2: the definition of the object of study and relevant literature ofcomb. Mainly to new media, several core concepts such as effective reading and reading teaching strategy is defined, and the effective reading teaching strategyresearch at home and abroad.Chapter3: ordinary high school Chinese reading teaching under the newmedia era of the status quo of the research. From two aspects: students andteachers in reading teaching, the analysis of the new media era background, theordinary high school reading teaching existing problems and reasons.Chapter4: ordinary high school language reading teaching effectively underthe new media era of strategy research. To change teaching idea, improveteaching methods, to improve teachers’ quality from three aspects, combined withteaching practice on ordinary high school Chinese reading teaching effectivelyunder the new media era of strategy research.Chapter5: to study the results and the existing dififculties. Summarizes theachievements of atfer the implementation of effective reading teaching strategy,analysis of the deifciencies and some diiffculties in the study.
