The eight basic education curriculum reform in our country encourages students tochange their learning styles, advocates independent learning, cooperative learning andinquiry learning.We should gradually change the way of centering around teachers,books and class. Let the students become the masters of learning. It’s necessary to developthe students’ subject consciousness, initiative and creativity,and also to improve students’innovation consciousness and ability. How to select the teaching model to promotestudents’ learning style change is worthy of being studied.The article has carried on the lecture teaching mode of practice research. It hassummarized present research situation and the tendency about teaching mode at home andbroad. It also summarizes the research contents and methods, as well as the theoreticalfoundation of the lecture teaching mode.It defines the teaching mode, chemistry teachingmode, and the concept of lectrue teaching mode; It expounds the lecture teaching mode ofautonomous, cooperative, lecturing, and the main task of the four stages, the characteristicsof the course teaching model, teaching principles and teaching strategy; And the paper setsforth the lecture teaching mode in high school chemistry teaching practice research. Studyhas found that the lecture teaching mode highlights the dominant position of students inlearning, improves the students’ interest in chemistry learning, arouses the enthusiasm ofthe students’ participation in learning activities in class. It also makes the students explorethe problem of consciousness, help students form good learning habits.
