With the rapid development of information technology, it has penetrated into allaspects of our social life, more and more new instructional medias are attractededucational researcher’s attention and are applied into education teaching. In theprocess of information technology in education, with the "Campus Access toICTs" and "Class Access to ICTs " to carry out, interactive whiteboard thatcollection of traditional blackboard and multimedia projection system in one ofthe new media are came into primary and secondary schools classroom.However, in actual classroom, many teachers use interactive whiteboard as analternative multimedia projection system, it is only show for courseware,classroom atmosphere have no substantial change.In this study, the author analyzes the problems of biology curriculum injunior high school and the educational advantages of interactive whiteboard,combined with the characteristics of junior high school’s biology curriculum.Then put the interactive whiteboard using in junior high school biologycurriculum as study’s priority. This paper consists of five chapters:Chapter1: Introduce the research background, application and researchstatus of interactive whiteboard, and research profile of biology teaching. Thenclear the questions and purpose and significance of the study; elaboratedresearch programs and methods.Chapter2: Describes the meaning and function of the advantages of theinteractive whiteboard, analyzed the characteristics junior high school biologycurriculum, demonstrated the feasibility of using interactive whiteboard in thejunior high school biology teaching.Chapter3: Combine the contents of the second chapter, then analyzed theelements of based on interactive whiteboard’s instructionanl design, and proposean biology curriculum instructional design. Chapter4: Implement the instructional design, formation the lesson’s videoempirical research. By using analytical methods: ITIAS and S-T analysismethods, formation of the classroom’s statistical analysis, and students toparticipate in classroom questionnaires, get interactive whiteboard data, analyzethe data in the application of biology teaching effect, the formation of researchconclusion.Chapter5: Summarize this study, propose some suggestions to teacher,finally conclusion the inadequate of this study.
