Under the environment that our country is paying more and more attention tobasic education, especially thanks to the implementation of the compulsory educationsystem, the entrance problem of the primary school is almost solved. However,compared with the goal of talents training in the primary school, the quality ofeducation still has a large gap. I think one of the causes that limit the improvement ofthe quality of education is the problem of teaching quality monitoring. Our societyshould pay high attention to such problem, because, it can not only improve the levelof our country’s basic education, but also help to train a large number of innovativetalents. Therefore, we should take positive measures to enhance the teaching qualitymonitoring, either on the government level or on the school level. This paper takes theteaching quality monitoring as a research object, and by choosing three primaryschools in Chongqing Shapingba District as respondents, I want to find out theproblems existed in the teaching quality monitoring, analyze the causes of suchproblems, and finally come up with some solutions and suggestions to improve theteaching quality monitoring in primary school.The main study of this paper includes for aspects. The first one is the teachingquality monitoring in primary school and its evaluation criterion. I give deep analysison the evaluation criterion of the teaching quality monitoring in primary school and itstheoretical basis from seven aspects that are the monitoring awareness in place, theperfection of monitoring organiztion, the completeness of monitoring contents, thescientific criterion of monitoring, the sound system of monitoring, the whole course ofmonitoring links, and effectiveness of monitoring methods, which are regarded as thetheoretical basis of the study in this paper. The second one is the status quo andproblems in the teaching quality monitoring in primary school. I take three primaryschools (A,B,C) in Chongqing Shapingba District as an example, and usequestionnaire method and interviewing method to invest the status quo and problems in the teaching quality monitoring in primary school to a large extent. Based on empiricalanalysis, and from seven aspects of monitoring awareness, monitoring organization,monitoring contents, monitoring system, monitoring links, and monitoring methods,this paper analyzes the problems existed in the teaching quality monitoring in primaryschool. The third one is the analysis of the cause of problems existed the teachingquality monitoring in primary school. This paper combines the problems found in thequestionnaire survey with the result of interview to analyze the cause of problems inmonitoring awareness, monitoring organization, monitoring contents, monitoringsystem, monitoring links, and monitoring methods. The fourth one is the discussion onthe solutions to the teaching quality monitoring in primary school. This paper comesup with the solutions from seven aspects, which include improving awareness ofmonitoring significance, perfection of building the monitoring organization, enrichingthe monitoring contents, increasing scientificity of the monitoring level, perfection ofthe monitoring system, carrying out the interaction in the monitoring links, andenhance the applicability of the monitoring methods.
