Since China’s reform and opening up, along with the continuous increase of economiclevel of our country, the hotel industry develop rapidly, with growing competition betweenstar-rated hotels. Star-rated hotel as a labor-intensive service industry, its human resource isthe most important resources of is the foundation of hotel service competitiveness.Therefore, the success or failure of star-rated hotels competition depends on the level ofhuman resource management.Rapid development of the star-rated hotels had a sharp rise in demand for staff. Tomake up for the human resources, hiring a large number interns becomes the commonpractices for a lot of star-rated hotels. Although now in China, there are a few internsmajored in hotel management in the proportion of hotel staff, the secondary vocationalinterns still becomes important part of human resources in the star-rated hotels. How tocarry on the effective management of secondary vocational interns is still in a preliminaryexploration stage for many star-rated hotel. They had many problems in the managementof secondary vocational intern, which performance in not only playing the advantages ofsecondary vocational interns sufficiently, instead of bringing great negative effects to thehuman resources management of hotel. In order to solve this situation, how to takeeffective measures to play the advantages of intern, and achieve tripartite win-win amonghotels, schools and students is a great test for managers of star-rated hotels in humanresource management.This paper selects the MP hotel in Xiamen as the study object, through the method ofliterature research, system study and case study, Combining with the lated research in thefield of human resource management theory, and comprehensive description and analysisof secondary vocational interns in hotel management present situation and problems,putsforward the management of specific measures of secondary vocational interns, In order tobring more useful theoretical exploration in interns management level of ascension for thehotel.
