In recent years, education circles pay more and more attention to senior high schoolChinese education, and more and more research on senior high school classic Chineseteaching and selected articles appear, but there is still no one making specialized research onthe senior high school (compulsory) classic Chinese vocabulary of People’s Education Press.Nevertheless vocabulary teaching is the foundation of middle school classic Chinese teaching,having a very important status in middle school Chinese teaching. Therefore, this paper,regarding the senior high school (compulsory) classic Chinese vocabulary of People’sEducation Press as object, fully studying and analyzing the basic features of the vocabularyand multiple meaning showing on Synchronic plane in ancient Chinese, aims to provide somefundamental help for senior high school classic Chinese teaching on the basis of summing upthe characters of ancient Chinese vocabulary. Embodied in the following respects:Firstly, to determine the basis features of classic Chinese vocabularyThe author classify the senior high school (compulsory) classic Chinese vocabulary ofPeople’s Education Press reference list and polysyllabic word to accomplish the basic featuresInductive work of senior high scool (compulsory) classic Chinese vocabulary of People’sEducation Press.Secondly, to study the monosyllabic words and polysyllabic wordsThis paper analyze the meaning of Synonyms, Antonyms and cognate words ofmonosyllabic words and meaning of binding words of polysyllabic words in senior highschool (compulsory) classic Chinese vocabulary of People’s Education Press. At the sametime, this paper analyze formation reason of monosyllabic words and polysyllabic words bysamples, especially selecting several groups of noun, verb and adjective for Origin traceability.Through study and analysis, we can have a glimpse of the developing features and changerule of these words and provide reference value for future senior high school classic Chineseteaching.Thirdly, classic Chinese vocabulary and classic Chinese teaching in senior high schoolThrough analysis of senior high school classic Chinese vocabulary, we can know the vocabulary of systemic, meaning of systemic and reason of senior high school classic Chinese.On the basis of the above mentioned, we can get some helpful suggestion for senior highschool classic Chinese teaching, in order to give some fundamental help to senior high schoolclassic Chinese teaching.
