| Chinese language education in Thailand has been nearly a hundred years of historical development since the1930s. The scale, the level and the effectiveness of school of Chinese teaching has improved considerably. In recent years, the communications between China and Thailand are increasing the demand for language educations. It is urgent that the teaching method of Chinese language courses should be improved, and at the same time problems in teaching Chinese is exposed. Comprehensive Chinese courses as Chinese language teaching basic courses for students are significant in the whole teaching system. Those courses are directly related to the development of students’individual skills and the realization of teaching objectives.Aiming at improve Thailand high school Chinese education, this paper tries to study on the teaching methods of Chinese classes in Thailand Paknamchumphon Wittaya School, and develops a suitable strategy for Chinese language teaching in Thai junior high school. Besides, this paper also put forward useful suggestions for Chinese teachers and Thai students. The article is divided into five parts. The first part is a summarization of the general situation of comprehensive Chinese courses. The second part is an comprehensively analysis of Chinese courses, teachers and students in Paknamchumphon Wittaya School. The third and four part contains suggestions, which based on investigation and analysis of all the teaching elements that includes language, culture and performances of both teachers and students, for Chinese teaching in the school. The last part put the suggestions into practical teaching. The main methods of this treatise include documents collection, questionnaire, interview and observation. |
