A Survey Report On Chinese Teaching In Qiaoguang Middle School In Bangkok, Thailand

In recent years,more and more Thai schools have included Chinese in the curriculum plan,and more and more Thai schools have joined the Chinese state-run International Chinese Teachers Volunteer Project,the current national Han office sent to Thailand each year more than 1600 Chinese teachers volunteer.Compared with other countries,the Chinese education in Thailand has a considerable scale,especially in primary and secondary schools in Thailand,which has a long history of Chinese education,and has obvious advantages in teaching system,teaching conditions,teaching testing and evaluation.The author,as a volunteer Chinese teacher who taught in Thai Christian School in Bangkok from May 2018 to March 2020,according to the two-year real experience of Chinese teaching,took Thai Christian School as the object of investigation and research,conducted a survey on the current situation of Chinese teaching in this school which started to carry out Chinese teaching since 2000,and analyzed and summarized the Chinese teaching in this school through observation,interview,questionnaire survey and other ways The history of teaching development and the current situation of Chinese teaching,and some suggestions on the problems of classroom management,assessment and evaluation of Chinese teaching in the school.I hope that through the introduction of the current situation of Chinese teaching in Thai Christian School,we can enrich the Chinese educators' understanding of the development of Chinese teaching in Thai schools,and provide reference for the teachers who will carry out Chinese promotion work in Thailand in the future;I also hope that the research of this paper can provide help to other schools in Thailand that have just carried out Chinese teaching or lack of experience in Chinese education.
