The parent-child reading activities refers to parents and children to readtogether in a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the activity. The parent-childreading as an important way of early childhood education, has specialsignificance to the growth of children.This research took the277students of6-8years old children’s parents fromNanjing Primary School and Red Yellow Blue Kindergarten of Changchun City asthe investigation object.Using the self-made parent-child reading the researchquestionnaire, from the parents of the child reading concepts, parents choosereading materials for the children,parents and children in parent-child readingway and parents reflections on reading effect four aspects of Changchun Cityof parent-child reading.The study points out parents some problems existing inthe process of parent-child reading and analysisThe causes of these problemsfrom the parents of their own factors,the social value orientation factors andthe guidance for parents of professional guidance mechanism.Based on the analysis of actualityin order to obtain more detailed data,thisstudy selected three families for a case study,the process performance of theparents of parent-child reading and thei nterviews were analyzed,concluded thatwhat parents should play the role in the parent-child reading activities.Mainlyincludes four aspects: parents are the parent-child reading learners, parentsis the screening for parent-child reading materials, parents is the master foparent-child reading way, parents are promoters of parent-child readingpromotion.
