Junior middle school art teaching is an important model for junior middle school art teacher in arteducation, art curriculum plays a very important role in junior middle school students learning.So far,therehas been no substantial progress on art textbook reforms in our country, the status of art education and artclass become specific, reforms will have new content appears. Eventually, there is no jump developmentmakes art materials truly adapt to classroom teaching on reforms, there will be always some undesirableplaces in part of the contents or part of a module suited to the actual teaching. In order to meet the newcurriculum standards requirements, art textbooks are divided into four parts:" Appreciate and comment","styling and performance,""comprehensive and exploration","Design and Application", therefore, thelatest versions of the junior high school art textbooks are also curriculum reforms,the inevitable results isadvancing junior art textbooks.The camparative study of PEP and people’s fine arts publish house of middle school art materials, Iam divided into four parts, the first part: researching the background and contents of the subject、the vauleof my research. Chapter II: I’m going to analysis the common features between PEP and people’s fine artspublish house of middle school art textbook. As the third parts,take it with a grain of salt. And this part laysthe foundation for the third part. Chapter III: According to the analysis the study of Chapter II, I’m goingto compare the subject of two art textbooks, knowledge points enumerated horizontal and vertical contrast,comparison of the two sets of textbooks were from the structure, material textbook writing style andpresentation of their own characteristics that different. Also compare the two sets of textbooks for the mostinteresting places in Chapter IV. Chapter IV: For the first few parts of the results and issues, put forwardmy suggestions for the two sets of teaching materials and the written expectations for junoir middle schoolart textbook. Finally, I’m going to returnning to the original purpose and value of art textbooks for mypreparations.
