Study On Education In Qitai Area During The Period Of Republic Of China

From1912to1949, Xinjiang social unrest and stable weaving, Qitai Educationunder the social background tortuously developed. With the help of archives and localrecords, this paper will analysis the Qitai area’s education during the period ofRepublic of China from five parts. According to the traditional education in Qitai inthe late Qing Dynasty continued to move forward, at the same time appears the seedsof new education; Yang Zengxin ruling period, combined with the actual situation inXinjiang to the original school of integration, on the basis, Qitai’s education has gotcertain development.During the period of Jin Shuren, the society turbulent, thedevelopment of education was stagnant;1933-1944years, with the promotion of theeducation policy of the Sheng Shicai government, in Qitai, Promotion Associationestablishded schools and private schools flourished, the development of publicschools also reached a new level, the education of Qitai region presented aprosperity scene;during the period of the KMT’s governance (1944-1949), financeappeared greater difficulty, rising prices, the Qitai county government took somemeasures, to appease the mood of teachers, education in Qitai continue to developslowly; in the fifth part, the author summed up the characteristics and influencingfactors of Qitai education during the period of Republic of China, thinks thateducation during this period has various forms of running schools, elementaryeducation is developed the lack of school education, secondary education, politicaland other characteristics, the social stability, economic factors, the teachers and theeducational idea are the important factors that affect the development of education inQitai.
