Study Of The Sources Of New Chinese Muslim Educational Funds During The Period Of The Republic Of China

Before new Hui Muslim education appeared,mosque education was the main form of Hui Muslim education,and its funds mainly relied on donations of Muslims and property of mosques.In the late Qing Dynasty,the disadvantages of mosque education appeared constantly,so new Hui Muslim education appeared and gradually became the main form of Hui Muslim education during the period of the republic of China. With the changes of education form,the funds forms changed too.On the one hand,the way to raise funds in mosque education still continued in new Hui Muslim education.On the other hand, under the background that the government was not keen on new Hui Muslim education,private donations and government tax become the major source of funds.In the later period of the republic of China,the funds of the government to new Hui Muslim education increased.In brief,the funds of new Hui Muslim education began to become more diversified and complicated during the period of the republic of China.
