An Empirical Research Of The Archives Management Of Overseas Students In Colleges Of Guangxi

From2001to2012, the average annual growth rate of the number of foreignstudents is about20%and the scale is expanding rapidly in Guangxi District. Theadvantages of developing the education of foreign students has becomeincreasingly prominent in Guangxi region, especially the Southeast Asian countries.With the expansion of the scale of foreign students, foreign students’ archivesmanagement work in Colleges and universities has attracted more and morescholars and researchers’ attention. The author firstly analyzes the regionaladvantage of education about the foreign students in Guangxi region, then statingthe shortcomings of archives management work of foreign students in universitiesat present, at last, improving the urgency of archives management work of foreignstudents will be highlighted by comparison. According to the relevant researchresults of foreign students’ archives management at home and abroad, and theactual situation of foreign students’ archives management in colleges anduniversities in Guangxi region, and on the basis of field research materials of fourrepresentative colleges and universities in Guangxi region, the present situationcomprehensively will be concluded, the existing situation and cause thoroughlywill be analyzed, the approach of improving students archives management will beput forward. Finally, the author proposes assumption “the evaluation index systemof foreign students’ archival management in universities”, and describes thegeneral model in order to improve the whole level of foreign students’ archivesmanagement and foreign students’ education in Guangxi region.
