Research Of Present Situation And Problems And Countermeasures Of Archives Of The Guangxi Secondary Vocational Schools

At present, the archival work of secondary vocational schools lags farbehind the development of school education. It is difficult to give full play tothe role of archival information resources to provide services for school work.Therefore, the author conducted a sample survey for archival work in Guangxisecondary vocational schools to further understand the status of archival work,and found that the main problems are: archive awareness is very weak;archival institutions and infrastructure are far from perfect; the contingent ofarchivists is severely short; uniform norms and physical archives taxonomy islacking; the building of digital files is extremely hysteretic; the platforms ofarchives exchange are lacking. Then countermeasures for those problems wereproposed. These were such as: raising the awareness of the archives; makingsound the institutions and infrastructure of the archives; strengthening thecontingent of archivists; developing a unified specification and physicalclassification for the archival work of the secondary vocational schools;accelerating the building of digital archives; building the platforms of thearchives exchange etc. The archival work of secondary vocational schools willbe promoted and gradually be standardized and scientific.
