A Study On The Team Construction Of Vocational College Student Cadre

Higher vocational college student cadres are not only the backbone and outstanding elements of the students, but also an important bridge and link between college and students and an important part of the students work team, besides, they are the valuable human resources of the CPC and the country. In recent years, along with the rapid development of higher vocational education, the quantity of the both higher vocational colleges and their graduates have already exceeded undergraduate colleges, but the research of team construction of their student cadres appears still very far behind, which is not able to satisfy the real needs, therefore, strengthening the theoretical exploration is very urgent and practical.Using the method of documentary, questionnaire and interview research, combining theory with practice, taking seven colleges of Suzhou international education park as an example, the paper starts from discussing the connotation and the construction significance of student cadre team of higher vocational colleges, analyzes the present situation of the team construction of the student cadres and the causes of the existing problems, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures eventually.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part describes the background of choosing the title, analyses the current research status of the team construction of higher vocational student cadres, and introduced the characteristics, the significance of the research, as well as its research methods.The second part discusses the connotation of the team construction of college student cadre. From the general property the paper expounds the conception and the types of college students cadre, creatively put forward the content of the team construction of college students cadre, and analyses the characteristics of the student cadre team of higher vocational colleges from standpoints of students'quality, mobility, task conditions, and practical ability four aspectsThe third part discusses the significance of the team construction of higher vocational student cadre, which mainly have five aspects as following:first, discussing the team construction of vocational college student cadre embodies the needs of the party and the country in cultivating the "four new generation" from the view of training young Marxist and national human resources construction; second, discussing the team construction of vocational college student cadre shows the requirements of college management from the points of helping the stability of politics, security and teaching on campus; third, discussing the team construction of vocational college student cadre indicates the demands of campus culture construction in terms of coming down the concept of campus culture heritage, enriching campus culture, and promoting the spirit of campus culture;fourth,discussing the team construction of vocational college student cadre incarnates the necessity for growth and maturity of vocational students from the perspectives of promoting the study,enriching campus life and enhancing general cultivation of vocational college students;fifth, from the opinion of promoting the education and capability of student cadres discusses the team construction of vocational college student cadre meets the needs of student cadres own development.The fourth part chiefly analyzes the status quo and the origin of the problems as to the team construction of vocational college student cadre in Suzhou International Education Park. First, by means of empirical study author points out the major achievements of the team construction of vocational college student cadre in respect to forming student cadre organization of higher vocational mode, shaping relatively scientific selection methods and criteria of student cadre, fashioning the basic student cadres training system, establishing basic evaluation mechanism for student cadres,acquiring "Three-Self" effectiveness together with organizational innovation; author also indicates the primary existing problems of the team construction of student cadre which lies in the selection process of the student cadres, team construction, training and education effects, monitoring mechanisms, incentives, and organizational culture construction. Last, the essay summarizes five reasons of the above problems as following:college leaders shows insufficient attention and support, management level of teachers and centralized department of student organizations are not in place, student cadres do not meet the corresponding quality and ability, the team construction of vocational college student cadre is lack of management by objectives, the negative impact of the social environment and the campus atmosphere bring barriers to the building of the student cadre contingent.The fifth part put forward the countermeasures of the team construction of vocational college student cadre of Suzhou International Education Park, it mainly have the following six areas:college leaders ought to strengthen attention and support, teachers of student cadres to strengthen learning and management, to enhance the quality and capacity of student cadres, to strengthen mechanisms, to implement target management, and to create good school spirit and style of study and so on.
