" The Ministry of Education for the21st Century Education Revitalization ActionPlan " proposed "to start community education experiment, efforts to improve thequality of the people, establish and improve the system of lifelong education." Since2000, China approved the establishment of the first batch of eight communityeducation experimental zones, National Community Education experimental area hasover a hundred. Jiangsu Province is one of the provinces in the earlier experiment incommunity education in China’s rural areas, rural adult education has been activelyexplored and made certain achievements. In this paper, the rural community educationadult education experimental zones in Jiangsu Province as the research object, tryingthe status of the rural community education adult education in Jiangsu Province, theexperimental area, the relevant issues and trends are described and explained. Thispaper uses a questionnaire survey research methods, random interviews, literatureresearch and theoretical analysis, the main contents are:(1) the context ofcommunity education experiment, profile and significance; Rural Adult Education(2) Experimental Zone, Jiangsu Province, Community Education developmentstatus, the achievements and major problems exist; related countermeasures ruralAdult Education (3) experimental Zone, Jiangsu Province, to further communityeducation reform and development. The main conclusions of this paper are: Firstly,from the following three aspects of Rural Community Education Adult EducationExperimental Zone, Jiangsu Province, were investigated:(1) organizationalleadership from the point of view, the experimental area of Jiangsu province ruralcommunity education adult education organization leadership as a whole is inoperation a high level, and southern, central and northern areas of the smallerdifference in the government co-ordination;(2) conditions to protect from view,Jiangsu adult education in rural communities have full-time teachers, the networkcover specific government funding and other aspects of the development of better, butin the teaching ability of teachers to address the teacher preparation, training areasneed improvement, and the southern, central and northern areas in the teachingcapacity of the local adult education teachers, teacher preparation there aresignificant differences in terms of implementation and the rational use of funds aswell as school-enterprise cooperation;(3) from the level of development, theexperimental area in Jiangsu rural Community Education Adult Education demonstration School in building construction and adults develop better training base,but quality of training, the type of training program, personnel training and practicaltalent gap and meet local residents satisfaction still need to continue to improve, andas well as southern, central and northern areas of the government special funds fortraining, built a solid local adult education training base, community adult centerschool running well, resident satisfaction has a significant difference. Secondly, therural community education adult education reform and development experimentalzone of Jiangsu Province achievements include the following aspects:(1) a stronggovernment to co-ordinate and promote the development of rural adult education;(2)the establishment of adult education teachers alone, to a certain extent safeguard thestability of the rural adult education teachers;(3) three-tier network and improveadult education in rural areas, basically do a full coverage;(4) local governmentinvestment in rural adult education more emphasis;(5) agricultural training programsand content also more abundant. Third, Jiangsu Province, rural adult educationcommunity education experiment area worthy of further attention and improvementissues include:(1) the level of development of adult education in rural areas of theprovince North-South differences more obvious, uneven development;(2) AdultEducation Teachers professionalism to be further enhanced;(3) the quality of ruralutility personnel training needs to be improved;(4) rural adult education funding isstill relatively simple, not really relevant inputs in place;(5) of rural residents ’satisfaction adult education and training is not high. Fourth, to further improve themain countermeasures Experimental Zone, Jiangsu Province, community educationadult education in rural areas:(1) adjust their development strategies to promote thebalanced development of the province’s rural adult education;(2) to strengthen theconstruction of rural adult education teachers, teachers attention specialization;(3) tofurther improve the quality of rural adult education and training to meet the needs ofrural economic and social development;(4) to increase funding for adult education inrural areas, and to establish a sound mechanism to ensure funding;(5) to increaseadvocacy and protection efforts to further increase the participation of the villagers.
