The educator Sue Home Linsky once said,“Only by creating a goodeducation environment can we make the education reach a good result.” Here, theeducational environment is the culture of a class on campus. In general, what we callthe culture of class refers to the value orientations, the goals and the behaivor standards, which are formed inside a class. Creating a positive and healthy class culture, on onehand, can enrich students’ life and refine students’ temperament. On the other hand, itcan improve the development of students’ personality and composite quality. As aresult, students’ master consciousness gets stronger. Truthfully, the culture of a class isthe soul, the power to the existense and development of a class, and also the key to thesuccess. It plays an important part in the education and the growth of a senior highschool student. So, the construction of class culture in senior high school is becoming anew challenge to the educational workers. After reading some related materials, I find there is still something worth studyingin this field. My study takes Luzhou High School as an example. Based on someclasses in the3grades on campus, I’ll try to exploit effecient ways to build a class. From the surveys concerned with spirit, rules, materials and activities of one class, Ichose9classes in3different grades—300students in total to answer some questions.Leaders, headteachers and teachers are interriewed. Some special cases are deeplyinvestigated. From the analysis of data and local investigation, there mainly exist someproblems in Senior High school. First, the class construction is often too abstract.Second, there is a lack of efficievey. As a conseuence, my study focuses on thestrategies of cultural construction of a class. First, stress the importance of spirit of oneclass; second, regulate the rules of a class; third, take materials of one class seriously;forth, call on students to take an active part in after-class activities. My study will be developed in these4aspects and I’ll put forward some effeciectly related cases.
