The problem of learning difficulties generally exists in studentsof primary and secondary schools, which hinders the academicdevelopment. It cause concerns from educators all over the world.Many experts and scholars and as well as teaching staffs have done alot of research through different perspectives for those students whohave learning difficulties, and may have formed some theories on howto combat this issue or ways of improvement. However, this issue isparticularly prominent in subject of mathematics. Therefore, how tocombine with the teaching and learning of mathematics for thosechallenging students has become an issue of universal concern.Through interviews, case study and practical research in thispaper, we are look into possible theories, also the feasibility of how toimprove those students’ academic achievements. By analyzing what ismain factor to cause those learning difficulties, particular amongmiddle school students. And put forward the relevant strategies to beused in case study and classroom teaching. Consequently, we useacademic performance result to test the effectiveness of the proposedmethod.After I analysis the data collected in my practice and the casestudy of my student with learning difficulties in Mathematics, I getsome conclusions as follows:(1) Additional verbal teaching and extra assignment exerciseshave certain influences on students’ academic achievement.(2) Amendment of home works timely has certain influences onstudents’ academic achievement.(3) Associate between Home and School have some influence onthe students’ academic achievement.(4) Lack of basic knowledge of mathematics, lack ofconcentrations in the class is the focal point of the problem.
