Chemistry teaching aims to cultivate the students’ scientific literacy toimprove the quality of the students. How to improve the effectiveness of chemistryteaching, how to cultivate the students’ scientific literacy and improve student’squality in the process of chemistry teaching has made chemical teachers puzzled. Theyhave been trying to improve. How to make it easy for the teachers to teach, students learneasily, the key is to master the effective teaching methods and makes the teaching methodin the formation of students’ scientific literacy fully embody the student qualityenhancement to a good theoretical and practical basis.In this paper, under the guidance of effective teaching theory combined with theiryears in middle school chemistry teaching practice on how to choose and implementeffective teaching in high school. Chemistry teaching strategies were discussed and theuse of effective teaching strategies for chemical disciplines provide certain theoreticaland practical guidance.This article is divided into four parts. The first part of introduction expounds theeffective teaching strategy from four aspects of research significance. The second part ofthe theoretical basis, based on the theory, put forward how to carry out theimplementation of effective teaching strategies. The third part of the empirical research,by the author in the concrete implementation in the process of teaching, further verify thedevelopment of effective teaching strategy in practice effect. The fourth part is theretrospect and prospect of effective teaching strategy.Hope this article can provide some useful thinking to the middle school chemistryteaching effectively and provide some reference for the cultivation of students’ scientificliteracy.
