Develop the students’ ability of language expression of Chinese teaching is animportant core, and the reading teaching is an important approach to cultivate thestudents’ language competence, the between each other, influence each other. Can say,in middle school Chinese teaching, improve the ability of language expression ofimportant way to improve the reading ability of students. Given reading and closelyrelated to the language expression, this article from understanding basic skills of readingaloud, grasp the writing tone, clear reading training goal, clear reading training point ofview, detailed reading training method several aspects, combined with teaching practice,summarizes some affects language competence through reading training methods andmeans.Paper will be divided into three parts: the first part, through the literature review toclarify the basic ideas, clear research purpose and meaning. The second part, to read tolocate, clear the importance of language expression, for reading and language to expressthe relationship between the two, put forward reading is an important approach toimprove students’ ability in language expression, should pay attention to readingteaching in middle school Chinese teaching. The third part, the emphasis on teachers inteaching should pay attention to reading skills in basic training, pays special attention tothe application of reading in Chinese teaching.
