According to the characteristics of its own special senior politics and currentsenior high school politics teaching, practice and summary in the foundation of deepdevelopment model, in order to realize the effective teaching of senior politics teaching,make up for the inherent lack of reference textbook development, arouse the students’enthusiasm and ability.In this paper, from the analysis of the functions of teaching materials and thecurrent senior high school politics teaching characteristics of certainty, especially incapacity, content, means, pointing to the problems, explained the need for furtherdevelopment of the political textbooks for senior high school. In emphasizing theteacher is still subject of depth development at the same time, more prominent in thesubject position of students.According to the textbook depth development must take the curriculum standard asthe basis, in accordance with the physical and mental development of students, reflectthe presupposition of unity and generative principle, this paper constructed the idealmodel of development and political textbooks for senior high school, that is "based onthe demand of the preparation","based on the development of the implementation of the ring Festival","based on the evaluation of the feedback link".
