Characteristics of the college entrance examination illustrated has become more andmore obvious;each of the local senior high school entrance examination volume"thehistory" questions the proportion is rising;every corner of a large number of pictures in thetextbook;so the textbook illustrations can not be ignored. This paper illustrations from thekinds of angle and location characteristics of junior high school textbook illustrations,onthe basis of comparative analysis of the junior high school textbooks on the illustration ofthe distribution,quantity,presentation,type,design, selection,text and other aspects of thesimilarities and differences.Then mainly from the perspective of the longitudinaldevelopment and appropriate illustrations in textbooks and other versions of the textbookillustrations compare to talk about PEP textbook illustration of the advantages anddisadvantages.Finally, combined with the specific examples to clarify the influence isreasonable use affirmative two textbook illustrations on the two aspects of teaching andlearning.
