Each learning stages’ target has specific requirements of teaching musicreading in the new music curriculum standards. Music reading is a veryimportant part of music teaching content. It is to read and sing the melody ofthe songs. To improve the ability and skill of music reading can simplyimprove one’s musical accomplishment. And the ability of music reading canobviously affect the effect of learner’s learning and playing. Howover, inrecent years, our music teaching neglected the learner’s basic skill training.Meanwhile, in the teaching process, many teachers would give up or reducethe content of music reading because of the boring content ad monotonousteaching method. So the students of grade four or five can still not read thescore and it is greatly affect the improvement of the learners. I read andgathered a lot of relevant information and literature, there’s less researchabout primary or middle schools’ music reading teaching. and the survey ofmusic reading researching and teaching n Baotou’s primary and middle schoolis hardly any.
