It is an important stage in the development of students' aesthetic ability in primary school,during which period,children's aesthetic ability develops fastest and it is easy to influence it through teaching.The marching band,integrating various art forms such as music and sports,is a highly comprehensive art form.It contains extremely rich aesthetic factors and has its unique aesthetic educational value.Cultivating primary school students' aesthetic ability in the teaching of marching can improve primary school students' perception,appreciation and creativity of beauty,help primary school students gradually enrich their aesthetic experience,and improve the aesthetic psychological structure,thereby effectively promote the development of primary school students' personality.Based on the characteristics of primary school students aesthetic ability,this study explores the problems that exist in the marching band teaching on the cultivation of primary school students aesthetic ability from three aspects of aesthetic feeling,aesthetic appreciation and aesthetic creativity;Due to the shortage of the teachers' qualification and aesthetic cultivation,inability to coordinate the aesthetic resources and make use of the aesthetic elements,students' initiatives and interests in study cannot be aroused in terms of the selection and adoption of the teaching content,teaching objectives and teaching methods;The school,bounded by the traditional notions,overweighs the utility of the marching band arts,ignoring the aesthetic education values of the marching band music arts and the cultivation of the teachers' capacities.On the basis of a clear idea of the problems and causes mentioned above,countermeasures are put forward in the paper,such as putting an emphasis on the aesthetic education values of the marching band music education,correcting the students' study attitude,bringing the students' principle status into play,making a flexible use of the teaching method,and a reasonable selection of the teaching content and objectives to cultivate the development of the students aesthetic capability.
