In the background of the changing social, ideological and moral construction ofChinese young people face many new challenges and problems, these challengesinclude diversification of external stimulus, school loss of the previous moraldominance because of catering to students’ tastes; the anomie of social behavior andteacher behavior, and the special status of the only child in the home allows students toget life experience contrary the school’s preaching; the disorder education and lack oftargeted system lead to the chaos of students’ concept; pursuing the short-termeducational effect, making it difficult to form a firm belief in students’ life.Education undertakes the mission to promote the physical and mentaldevelopment of young people, the development of moral character plays a decisive rolein students’ harmonious development of the body and mind, youth,90%of the timespent in learning expertise, the subject of moral education should be the key point ofmoral education in schools, based on the relevant literature, this study let the junior highschool and English teacher as the study object, using the survey method to invest thestatus of implementation of the junior high school English moral conduct,andproposing appropriate educational countermeasures for the identified problemsResearch on the subject of this study is divided into three parts. The first part istheoretical study, the second part is the research, and the third part is the suggestions.First, through the analysis of theoretical studies of existing research results, to define"the moral discipline", clarify the relationship between the disciplines of moraleducation and moral education in schools.The second part analyzes junior high school English textbooks PEP, develop moralresources, according to the textbooks,sum up the moral content, including studentself-discipline, the relationship between students and others,students and nature and therelationship between students and the community. Subsequently I went deep into the school classroom, observed the moral consciousness and moral behavior of Englishteachers in everyday teaching, summarized the problems of junior English education.The third part of research based on the first part and the second part of the study,targeted to raise educational countermeasures for the problems identified, EducationalStrategies focus on several aspects, improving the effectiveness of moral education,lanching ethical culture lessons, developing teacher behavior and awareness and thesense of independence of students.By improving the implementation of the variousways to achieve harmony between the English teaching and the moral teaching.The biggest shortcoming of this study are lack of enough sample, teachingobservation lasted short, analysis including quantitative and qualitative, but thequalitative analysis strong in subjective, moral effects are difficult to observe from theoutside, I hope it can be performed in-depth in future.
