Confucian Thought Of Benevolence And The Construction Of College Students’ Harmonious Interpersonal Relationship

Harmony remains the dominant of the theme of our times. Under the circumstance of all-round construction of socialism and the establishment of harmonious society, the construction of interpersonal relationship among college students becomes more and more important.From a macroscopic perspective, on one hand, the harmonious interpersonal relationship of college students is the fundamental needs for the construction of socialist harmonious society. On the other hand, whether the college students have good interpersonal relationship is directly relevant to the harmonious socialist society. To view from the perspective as college students, the higher education stage is a vital turning point of life. It is also the socialization stage for increasing the social knowledge, transforming the role and mastering the survival skills. In this period, using the appropriate ways to create a good interpersonal relationship is the basic need of their physical and mental health all-round development and the driver of their future development.Confucianism is the essence of traditional Chinese culture since thousands of years ago. It reflects the profound theoretical basis about the aspects of interpersonal communication. In addition, The ideology of "harmony in diversity" which we are looking for in the framework Confucian ideology of benevolence, to some extent, is consistent with the concept harmony. Therefore, Confucian ideology of benevolence is of great value for the rational construction of interpersonal relationship among college students.This paper aims to conclude the features of the harmonious interpersonal relationship among college students, and benefit from the analysis of the Confucian ideology of benevolence. Besides, this paper can provide some enlightenment for the construction of a harmonious interpersonal relationship among college students through the combination of Confucian ideology of benevolence and the spirit of our age. Being guided by this spirit, a harmonious interpersonal relationship among college students will be promoted and adjusted. In this case, college students, with the great trust of Chinese people, should undertake the historical mission of the future construction and development of China and achieve the goal of rejuvenating the nation.
