Appreciation education is an important part of music education of ordinary high school art education of national unity, since1996the creation of art in ordinary high school appreciation class began,general senior high school music appreciation teaching has become the aesthetic education of the basic education in an important part,plays a role in connecting. With our country’s basic music educationcurriculum reform, the new "music curriculum standards "promulgated, brought new changes to the school music curriculum.Music appreciation teaching is one of the important contents in the field of music teaching in middle school, has a very importantposition in music teaching, so the new ideas of improving andexplore the music appreciation teaching is important, we need a healthy and active music appreciation course.The author based on the four high school music appreciationteaching me the location of the fieldwork and the self designed questionnaire and the ordinary high school music appreciationteaching related literatures and analysis, understanding of music appreciation in senior high school curriculum standards in the target;application of teaching methods and materials of high appreciationand grasp the relevant theory in the teaching of senior high school,in the premise of the theory support, the teachers and the teachers’ own music culture background, teaching method and teachingapplication of several dimensions of the actual situation of teachingmusic appreciation in Senior High School of Mudanjiang City,according to the survey data analysis, comparison of actual data onthe summary of current situation, will be unified the part and the whole, combined with the existing related materials in exploring localteaching characteristic clear. In another point of view to understand the current status of most music appreciation teaching in Mudanjiang city high school is not perfect and according to the characteristics of music education in middle school and high school music teaching practice. According to the new requirement for the talents, in twenty-first Century, the high school music teaching mode and the proposals to reform social needs; one is the improvement of excellent musicteachers team construction, two is to take the student as the main body reasonable design of teaching aim.of music appreciation is suit one’s measures to local conditions, three creative integration ofteaching content, music appreciation four advanced music teaching methods to improve the the students’ interest in learning. Provides a theoretical basis for the music teacher, let the music teachers in thecontinuous improvement of its foundation, so that students in the teaching practice of music appreciation in the music appreciation ability.
