The Sports Classification Of Chinese Citizens From The View Of Social Classification

During the period of social transformation in China, structure, mechanism, values and the interests of the whole society is changing greatly. People’s life styles and values are changing hugely in this process. In the period of transformation, social stratum differentiation becomes more and more obvious for the adjustment of interests and the resulting extended income gap among groups. Social stratification can also be reflected by people’s sports participation and sports consumption. The different social strata show large differences in sports participation, such as places, activities and consumption.People have the basic rights of sports participation, so the gap of sports participation among social classes is not conducive to the achievement of sports justice. Sports justice is the basic concept of sports. Based on the relevant literatures and interview with experts, this research collects data by questionnaires to explore the relationship between social stratification and social classes. In addition the improvement measures are proposed to deal with injustice of sports. To achieve sports justice, these measures ensure the extensive sports participation of all social classes in the period of social stratum differentiation.Chinese is conducting urbanization. The urban population is increasing continuously. In2011Chinese town population exceeds rural population. In the future, China urban population will exceed the rural population greatly. The urban population is the main body to participate in sports activities and sports consumption, therefore this research takes city residents as the research object. Based on the study of relationship between social stratification and sports, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to achieve sports fair.In order to realize the fairness of sport, this paper believes the following measures should be taken.(1) The mass sports organization should be built to induce city residents’participate in sports activities.(2) The number of public sports facilities should be increased to provide enough public sports venues for city residents;(3) Opening sports facilities in schools should be encouraged to provide cheap sports venues for city residents.(4) The resources of competitive sports and mass sports should be shared to alleviate the shortage of good quality sports facilities supply.(5) The public sports information dissemination platform should be established to induce the orderly sports participant of city residents.
