At present, with the rapid development of China’s economy, culture and education, people are surprised to find that: China’s national average reading level,on a downward trend, is significantly lower than that of developed countries. Situation of juvenile is even-worse. So in March2014, the government for the first time included the project "Nationwide Reading" in the government work report to lay great emphasis on "Nationwide Reading".Reading is a fulcrum of the national competitiveness. In nowadays, the moreadvanced the economy is, the more obvious the effect of knowledge is. And ifmore people are involved in reading, knowledge would be transferred faster andthe use rate of new knowledge would be higher than ever, thus being conduciveto occupy the commanding point of development.Needless to say, the primary education should be the first to bear theresponsibility of cultivating“nationwide reading”.The college entrance examinationis one of the most important exams, which has greatest influence on our society.Thecollege entrance examination also known as the “baton”of middle school educationis the vane of education reform. Especially the chinese college entrance examinationplays an important role in promoting nationwide reading.It has been nine years since Chinese independent proposition is carried out byJiangxi college entrance examination. Weighing the merits and demerits on modernChinese reading test of Jiangxi college entrance examination, it is necessary to furtherimprove the exam requirements, strengthen the benign interaction between exam andteaching and put forward reform direction from aspects of theory and practice. In reality, more and more researches are about education value orientation, designthinking, and the paper itself, which pay more attention to the college entranceexamination of shanghai, Beijing than that of Jiangxi. However, there are fewerresearches on exams. Therefore, this paper has a deep understanding of modernChinese reading test of Jiangxi college entrance examination and makes a horizontalcomparative analysis by combining the similar appraisal target at home and abroad. Inorder to explore the reform objectives and directions of modern Chinesecomprehensive reading of college entrance exam in Jiangxi, promote a thread ofteaching and cultivate original motivation of “nationwide reading”, this studydiscusses the teaching significance of exams.This paper is divided into three chapters, about30thousands words.The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly expounds the researchbackground, purpose and significance,situation and research methods at home andabroad.The second chapter elaborates the test basis and the ability requirements ofstudents in modern article reading of the college entrance exam. Comparing keypoints of reading test of Jiangxi in2014with those of Beijing, Shanghai andprovinces with similar test targets, the author elaborates the development and changesof modern reading in Jiangxi in the last9years with the time as a clue and finallyfocus on site exploration of Chinese modern literary reading test in college entranceexamination in Jiangxi. After choosing20sites aiming at3styles and eliminating twosimilar sites and the author then carries on analysis one by one with the rest18testpoints and explores it from three aspects including: key assessment ability level, testcontent and problem solving.The third chapter is a research and teaching practice. Among,the author, afterselecting8the most important test sites from the18ones, studies the teachinginstruction and also proposes some teaching strategies respectively from the fasteningkeywords, students’ common errors, cultivating students’ habits etc. In order to help teachers better understand the design,the author offers an example and shows a fulldisplay of the teaching objectives, teaching points, teaching methods and teachingprocess.
