Objective: In the social environment facing the weakening of teenager’sconstitution, exam-oriented education’s inability to meet the development demand ofthe times, and PE education’s isolation from quality education, this paper carries outan experiment and study on the contents and forms of primary school PE class fromthe perspective of physical education, and explores the creation of primary school PEgame and its diverse effects. This is aimed at verifying that the creation of the primaryschool PE games with clear goal, diverse contents and novel forms can play a positiverole in the comprehensive development of pupil’s body and mind, hoping to helpprimary school PE educators construct a more purposeful primary PE game and bringits diverse effects into full play. On this basis, pupils can make improvements invarious aspects including the basic capacity for action, interest in physical education,academic performance, psychological quality and social adaptability.Methods: this paper conducts a teaching intervention among145pupils fromthree classes of grade one in Nanchang Lengshan Primary School by literature method,interview method, mathematical statistical method and experimental method. Thesethree classes are decomposed into three groups including one experimental group andtwo control groups (a, b and c group). a group is taught through text-based PE games;b group through traditional PE games; and c group primarily through lecture. Effortsare spent testing pupils’ changes in basic capacity for action, interest in PE, academicperformance, psychological quality and social adaptability after the experiment, and acomparative study is conducted on the tested data by dint of SPSS19.0to study thediverse effects the creation of primary school PE games has on pupil’s all-arounddevelopment.Conclusions: experimental study finds that the creation of novel primary schoolPE game and its application to teaching process can not only further the developmentof pupil’s basic capacity for action and help the pupils develop an interest in PE andthe consciousness of life-long sports, but also improve their academic performance. Inthis way, pupils’ psychological quality as well as social adaptability will beremarkably upgraded. Novel primary school PE game shows various advantages suchas developing their interest in PE and the consciousness of lifelong sports, andheightening their learning interest, psychological quality and social adaptability. Compared with traditional PE game teaching and lecture-based PE teaching, novelprimary school PE game teaching is more conducive to the comprehensivedevelopment of the teenagers, which can realize the diverse effects of primary schoolPE game education.
