| Great changes have taken place in Chinese fine arts education because of a new round basiceducation curriculum reform since2000. The development of the curriculum resource is one of thehighlights of the new curriculum reforms. With the development of curriculum reform, exploring thecurriculum resources has extended to a certain extent from both the breadth and depth. For the fine artscurriculum, art curriculum resources as the prerequisite and basis of the implementation of curriculum, itsconnotation and extension not only can promote backward areas of reform with respect to art education butalso can improve the quality of art education relative to the constant breakthroughs of the traditionalteaching material view. The local art resources gradually have been attached importance by many arteducators due to its unique convenience and content selection.The development target of local art curriculum resources of my thesis is “Heaven and Earthâ€historical buildings in my hometown, Dengfeng, Henan Provience. First of all, my thesis points out that thesignificance of "Heaven and Earth" historical and cultural architecture groups as the development of arteducation resources through the methods of literature and questionnaire. Due to its unique geographicallocation and its accumulation of history and culture, many murals, sculptures, architectural art in "Heavenand Earth" historical buildings can be developed as art treasures of art curriculum resources for primary andsecondary schools, such as the Shaolin Buddha temple’s murals, Chuzu’s exquisite stone carvings, templearchitectures of northern Tianshidao Zuting known as " the Palace in heaven", Songyue pagodas Tallinn oldpagodas, etc. Based on these numerous outstanding art resources and the implementation of national policyfoundation to further strengthen the importance of art education as well as art school curriculum standardspromulgated by the state as the premise, my thesis summarizes the principle of choosing the developmentof “Heaven and Earth†buildings as the local art curriculum resources according to the actual situation oflocal school art education in primary schools. Accroding to the criterion of opening, saving, adaptabilityprinciple, I screen, classificate, sort and sum up many art resources in "Heaven and Earth" historicalbuildings, those resources could be divided into stone sculpture art, mural art, architectural art and otherarts, meanwhile I also separately outline these artistic types and its artistic features. And then I sum up thedevelopment strategies of the “Heaven and Earth†historical buildings as the fine arts curriculum resources based on the case study and experience summary. Firstly, according to different classifications of buildingsand its affiliated cultural relics, the study areas of art curriculum standard comprehensive compulsoryeducation and general high school fine arts curriculum standard, develop teaching designs respectively infour sections "appreciation and comments","modeling and performance","design and application","comprehension and exploration " and develop school-based fine arts curriculums. Secondly, organizestudents to show their study results, invite folk artists to make lectures at the schools as well as carry outvarious forms of exchange activities with peer seminars based on the development and utilization of localcurriculum resources. Thirdly, make full use of multimedia equipment, network, video materials and otherresources for the school teaching. Otherwise the strategy oriented at the stage of compulsory education andthe ordinary high school teaching cases can be used as the references. Finally, sum up the problems of thelocal historical and cultural heritages and school art education through interview and questionnaire survey.According to the present research, investigate and analyze the present situation of art education inDengfeng City, as well as the problems of the process of "Heaven and Earth" historical buildings changinginto the art resources and finally put forward some specific solutions separately from the school, teachersand students layer surface.As a connecting link, the development of outstanding historical and cultural heritages for schoolart curriculum resources, not only connects school art education with the historical and cultural traditions,enriches the school art education, but also makes students’ horizons expanded, sharing the excellenthistorical culture of human resources and better achieving the educational function of these resources. Italso enables students to understand and identify the local culture, thus carries forward our excellentnational culture education by protection, inheritance, the consciousness. This paper mainly explores threesections from the selection principles of local art curriculum resources, implementation strategies ofcurriculum resources changed into the school fine arts curriculum, the problems of local historical andcultural resources combined with school art and their solutions. I hope the research can contribute topromoting the development and utilization of local art curriculum resources. |
