As College Entrance Examination (CEE) reform develops, researcher payincreasing attention to check on ability, especially the scientific inquiry ability.The ability of conjures and hypothesis is at the core of scientific inquiry ability,for which the test of conjures and hypothesis is indispensable in the test forscientific inquiry ability.This research includes following aspects:Research I Theories on CEE’s ability to evaluate students’ ability ofchemistry conjures and hypothesis.①Definition of key concepts.②Theprocess of finding the key evaluator for the ability of chemistry conjures andhypothesis(be capable of assuming, be capable of making connections, becapable of making reasonable hypothesis).③Theory Basis of CorrelationStudy.Research II Analysis of CEE’s ability to evaluate students’ ability ofchemistry conjures and hypothesis. On the basis of Research I, I selected95setsof chemistry test papers in CEE as analyzing sample. After analyzing the sampleI find27tests for scientific inquiry ability, among which11tests are for conjuresand hypothesis. Then use above key evaluators and learning point to analyzethese27and11target tests.Research III Correlation study between standard curriculum and CEE ANDconjures and hypothesis. Based on previous researches, using SEC analyzingmodel, standard curriculum and11sets of test paper from Curriculum reformexperimental zone as sample to see which two elements are correlated withability of conjure and hypothesis.Main conclusion:(1)In recent year’s CEE chemistry tests, approximately11%tests forability of conjures and hypothesis and few are dedicated to hypothesis.(2)Two evaluators appears most in recent years’CEE chemistry tests--becapable of making correlation and be capable of making reasonablehypothesis--at41.18and47.06percent respectively. They appear most in thetheme of common inorganic substance and application.(3)Standard curriculum is not consistent with CEE chemistry test in the evaluation of conjures and hypothesis, mainly manifested in the differentemphasis on content theme and cognitive level.
