With the continuous progress of the massification of china’ s higher education,college enrollment has brought us signification and economic benefits,but also facesthe downside risks to the quality.Under the background of the scale sustainabledevelopment,improving the quality of teaching and training higher-quality talent hasbecome the hot issue in the education sector.In view of the significance of educationquality,national universities have carried out a wide variety of teaching evaluationactivities.As one of the most important parts,student evaluation of teaching is widelyaccepted and applied.The subject has also been the concern of an increasing numberof higher education researching and managers.Through the induction of related literature,In this issue,A college in Hebei as theresearch object,according to collecting the information of the student evaluation andinterviewing the administrators,teachers and students as the teaching bodies,based onmastering the first-hand data,standing in the angle of schooladministrators,understanding students’ evaluation of current education system,founding the problems existing in the teaching system of student evaluation, in orderto give some suggestions to improve students’ evaluation of the teaching work.After studying,the main issues of students evaluation of teaching are asfollow:the design of the subject is not science enough;the purpose of evaluation ofteaching is not clear enough;the time of the evaluation of teaching is notreasonable;the form of the evaluation of teaching is single;lacking of the publicity andguidance to the students;the assessment feedback teaching results are not in place;theresults is not make use of in the college.Towards the above shortcomings,in order toimprove the recognition of students evaluation of teaching,some recommendations areas follows:the design of the evaluation index should be scientific and reasonable;thetime of evaluation of teaching should be arrange reasonable;strengthen thequantitative evaluation of teaching,promoting the combination of quantitative andqualitative student evaluation;strengthening the education and indictor before thestudent teaching evaluation;establish timely feedback mechanism;making full use of the teaching evaluation results.
