In the recent years, the phenomenon of teacher occupation burnout is becoming atrend in primary and secondary schools, the research from domestic and foreign inthis aspect also emerge in large numbers. According to the research on teacheroccupation burnout articles, it is mainly focus on the developed east areas whichcombining with local education conditions. Qinghai minority areas are located inQinghai Tibet Plateau with economic and cultural backwardness and harsh naturalenvironment, the treatment of teachers of primary and secondary school is generallylow in comparing with other regions in China. Although those areas are largelysupported by national education policy, but the reality is still not optimistic, theteacher group in such a disadvantage condition is easy to produce occupation burnout.The research is aiming at analysis related data from domestic and foreign, treatingthe empirical research as the main part, using methods of questionnaire and interviewto analysis occupation burnout of teachers in primary and secondary schools inQinghai minority current situation and influence factors, and tries to provide measuresand suggestions to prevent and alleviate the teacher occupation burnout.The results show that the teacher occupation burnout of primary and secondaryschools in Qinghai minority areas is very serious with the higher level of emotionalexhaustion. No significant difference between male and female teachers in theoccupation burnout, it does not exist significant differences in education and marriagedifferences, but the significant differences exist in the school level, head teacher,teaching age and area. Junior high school teachers is higher than that of highschool teachers in the emotional exhaustion, primary school teachers is higher thansenior high school teachers in the depersonalization. The head teachers are moreserious in emotional burnout than other teachers, and show strong performance indepersonalization. Teachers are16to20school ages are higher than teachers in6to10years in the emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. Teachers are1to5schoolages is higher than the teachers are6to10years in sense of achievement. Teachers incity of Xining in emotional exhaustion and depersonalization are higher than thatof the Hainan state teacher. The top three of the influence factors of occupationburnout are occupation pressure, social pressure and professional developmentpressure, also three major factors which influence the teachers’ occupation burnout.From the attribution analysis of teachers’ occupation burnout, the paper put forwardthe countermeasure and suggestion to prevent and alleviate the occupation burnout ofteachers in Qinghai minority areas. First, the government should intensify the supportin education of minority areas, improve teachers’ salary treatment, provide various forms of training opportunities to teachers, promote the professional development ofteachers, establish social support network, and form a reasonable social expectations.Second, the school leaders should create a good school environment, establish ascientific management system and appropriate evaluation system, give more discourseright to teachers, care for them and set up psychological counseling platform.Third, the teachers should correct the understanding of occupation burnout, insist tothe correct education faith and ideal occupation, and learn to balance the emotionalself.
