Basic education in rural areas is not only an important part of the whole nationaleducation system, but also an organic composition of the new rural construction. Thehealthy development of basic education in rural areas relates to the construction ofspiritual civilization and the advance of new urbanization in our country. So how tooptimize the allocation of the basic education resources rationally to improve thequality of rural education and promote the development of urban and rural areas hasalready become an important topic in the current educational research field.This paper will research the basic education in rural areas. For this purpose, thispaper does some empirical research to the allocation of basic education resources inrural areas using literature and comparative analysis. In the research, basic educationin rural areas of our country improves continually in terms of education funding,teachers and school conditions, while it also has the problems of unreasonableeducation funding input, the shortage of teachers, the low educational level and weakschool conditions. The allocation of basic education resources is mainly influenced bythe traditional ideas, the low economic development level, the deviation of theeducation policy system and the faultiness of measures for ensuring justice in the basiceducation stage. For this reason, this paper intends to put forward some effective waysand means in promoting the allocation of basic education resources in terms ofideology, economic development, and education policy system and safeguard measureto promote the development of urban and rural basic education as a whole.As the advance of new urbanization quickly development, accumulation and flowof the population presents both opportunities and challenges to backward basiceducation in rural areas. Taking allocation of limited education resources seriouslywill improve the education resource utilization, improve the current situation of basiceducation in rural areas, promote the development of urban and rural basic educationas a whole, provide cultural support for the development of new urbanization andmaintain social equity and harmony.
