Study On The Effects Of University R&D On The Operating Results Of Regional Innovation System

This paper uses quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis methods, makes use ofempirical data of the provinces and builds structural equation model, to make an empiricalanalysis of the effects of university R&D on regional innovation system. and further fromthe perspective of inputs and outputs, making comparing analysis on the R&D activities ofuniversities and other innovative bodies are compared. The results show that engineering,agriculture and medicine universities’ R&D activity has a positive significant effect on theregional innovation system, and humanities and social sciences universities’ R&D activityis not a positive significant effect on the regional innovation system; in R&D activities ofengineering, agriculture and medicine universities, basic research and applied research havea significant impact on the operating results of regional innovation system; university R&D activities are mainly through invention patents among outputs to have an importantimpact on the operating results of regional innovation system. Based on the research, in thefinal, for improving universities’ R&D effect on the operating results of regional innovationsystem, this paper put forward some suggestions.
