Research Of University Role In Regional Innovation System Based On Typical Region Patent Data

As one of the key elements of regional innovation system, university role has obtained comprehensive attention from domestic and alien scholars. How is the effect and developing trend of university in regional innovation? What is the interaction model between university and regional innovation activities in different regions? Whether the development of university disciplinary effectively promote the relevant industry progress, and so on. All above problems need to be concerned in regional practice and theoretical study, but relevant study is deficient at present.Based on the above issues, this article selects Guangdong province、Zhejiang province、Liaoning province、Sichuan province and its universities as research object, takes the 2000-2010 patent data as study samples, then carrys out the study of university role model in regional innovation in different provinces. Through construction of the second database, obtained university role model in each province and area distributions of school collaborating institutions. At the same time, through the analysis of different regional environmental factors and the study of correlation, conclusion that the development of university discipline plays a very important role in accelerating the development of regional pillar industries, there is a close relationship between university innovation and regional economy development. Finally, according to the conclusion, puts forward relative policy suggestions, such as implement differentiation regional innovation policy; promote the formation of the regional university alliance mechanism; continue to strengthen university-industry cooperation, encourage inter-regional cooperation innovation and so on.
