University counselors are the organizer and executor of various university operationsrelated with students’ education and management,serving as the backbone of ideological andpolitical education in university.They establish the most intimate relationship with students,offering them guidance to help them grow up sound.As for the performance appraisal Managers often apply it to the evaluation of staff actualperformance.Reasonable and effective construction of indicator evaluation system is key to carryout performance appraisal in a smooth way.Valid results obtained from performance appraisalcan help the worker analysis his advantages and disadvantages in the work,and also provide themanager with importance reference in staff management.Therefore, it is indispensable tool instaff management and the application of assessment results have increased working performanceas well as improved feedback mechanism of organizations.This paper has made a deep analysis of the counselor performance appraisal system in HUniversity,and has found out its deficiencies,thus determining assessment subject with the helpof360-degree performance appraisal.KPI is used to ascertain assessment indicator.Besides, theAnalytic Hierarchy Process can be utilized to determine the ratio of each assessment indicator.Based on the original performance appraisal in H University,the paper has optimized andconstructed a brand-new one that corresponds to the status quo of university counselor teambetter,on the purpose of raising the working capacity of counselors in H University and spurringtheir initiatives.As a result, the university security and stability can be safeguarded, the soundgrowth and comprehensive development of students be promoted.
