As an emerging subject, vocational pedagogy is still too immature. It’s immatureis mainly shown in following respects: from the time perspective, the history is shortand despised; from the content perspective, there is the problem of low level repeatedstudy; from the subject status perspective, it is very low and questioned. At thebeginning of the21stcentury, our vocational pedagogy has run to the creation stage,and got a series of achievements. In this study, I adopt literature research, inductiveand deductive method, and historical research to making a deep exploration andreflection on the vocational pedagogy’s development at the beginning of the21stcentury.Paper consists of five chapters. Chapter one: Introduction, there are mainly sixparts in this chapter, including research background, significance of research, reviewon special information, research methods, research structure and innovative points ofthis paper. Chapter two: the practice foundation of our vocational pedagogy’s theorydevelopment at the beginning of the21stcentury, it expounds respectively our socialbackground in the early of21stcentury, the contemporary popular ideas of vocationaleducation, the system of vocational education applied. Chapter three: the orientationof our vocational education academic paper at the beginning of the21stcentury, byanalyzing academic paper from2000to2010, we find the research orientation mainlyfocus on the following three aspects: the introduction of foreign vocational educationtheory and practical experience; the construction of the basic theory of domesticvocational education; the practice research towards domestic vocational education.Chapter four: the analysis of our vocational education’s theoretical books at thebeginning of the21stcentury, by analyzing total quantity from2000to2010and everytheme’s quantity, we can know that documents publication number is related toeducation policies, and the research content is abundant. Chapter five: thedevelopment of our subject construction of vocational education at the beginning ofthe21stcentury, we discuss it considering of both subject intellectual and institutional.Chapter six: summary and outlook, through summarizing the full text, we lookforward to the bright future.Through analyzing and discussing vocational education research status, we knowthe progress of China vocational pedagogy at the beginning of21stcentury. At thesame time, it provide a reliable gist for the later researchers on the basis of summary,and it not only improve and enrich the theory of vocational education, but also guide better the vocational education practical activity, at last make greater contribution tothe social and economic development.
