Now, with the information technology has become a big trend, our lives have been changed so much. The multimedia, the network and the other informational products has been integrated into life in all aspects. Meanwhile, the education,as an indispensable element in human development history, will also go forward together with the information. So how to do the combination of modern educational technology and curriculum has become one of the hottest topics in educational study circles. As we all know, the traditional "blackboard + chalk" teaching method has many problems, such as the too simple teaching form, the pollution of dust and so on.; as for the teaching method of “computer + projector”, even though it can enrich our teaching means in some degree, it still has some disadvantages, for example, the inconvenience of operation and the weakness of generation. Then the interactive electronic whiteboard, as a new teaching media, emerges as the times requires and will bring a perfect breakthrough for the integration of information technology and curriculum. It not only inherits the advantages of the traditional teaching methods, but also overcomes the shortcomings. So it has gone into myriad classrooms and has been appreciated by all kinds of educators, learners with its unique features.The author firstly did some trial and research with the electronic whiteboard equipment in her college classrooms, then went to the first elementary school in Hunan district and the second primary school in Shenhe district in Shenyang, and involved in the elementary Chinese language classes which use the interactive electronic whiteboards. By the communication and investigation with frontline teachers and students, the author studies the feasibility of interactive electronic whiteboard’s application in the elementary school language teaching. The major structure of the paper is as follow:Firstly, introduce the background, purposes, contents and research methods of this study. Then the concept, history and classifications of interactive whiteboard are related, and the domestic and foreign research status of interactive whiteboard sorted out respectively.Secondly, make a brief introduce to the interactive electronic whiteboard’s features, mainly including its basic functions, special functions, interactive functions and resource library functions. Then by the way of action research and interview, the application status of interactive electronic whiteboards in Chinese teaching in primary school is summarized.Again, do the analysis of the characteristic of Chinese discipline and the Chinese curriculum ideas of primary school, try to find out the bonding point of interactive electronic whiteboard with the primary schools’ Chinese subject and obtain a new designed teaching theory. Then on the basis of designed theory, some application cases have been put forward, which could provide a detailed reference for promoting the quality and effect of primary schools’ Chinese language teaching.Finally, summarize and present some other ideas about the application of interactive whiteboard in elementary school’s Chinese teaching courses, and the lack and prospects of this research will be present at the end.This article hopes that, through the research on the interactive electronic whiteboard’s application in primary school’s Chinese teaching course, we can find the bonding point of the interactive electronic whiteboard and the primary school’s Chinese course, then put it into uses, to achieve the result that provides a reference for primary school’s frontline language teachers and improves the quality of primary school Chinese teaching.
