The Study On Problems And Countermeasures Of Sustainable Development Of Colleges And Universities From The Perspective Of Education Ecology

With the popularization of higher education promotion in-depth, universities and colleges are facing many contradictions and problems that hinder their sustainable development in the process of development. As the subsystem of ecology of higher education system, how the universities and colleges overcome difficulties in sustainable development, make their scale, quality, structure, benefit develop coordinately, and finally make all universities and colleges even the whole higher education ecological system to achieve benign sustainable development state, has become a serious problem.Literature research method and empirical analysis method have been used in this paper, to analysis and explore various ecological predicaments of colleges and universities faced in the process of the sustainable development from the perspective of educational ecology, and come up with some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. The whole text is divided into three parts :The first part introduces the basic elements of the education ecology, operational mechanism of the ecological main body and the environment, the characteristics of the ecological system, pointing out that the sustainable development of colleges and universities is an inevitable requirement of the sustainable development of ecology of higher education system.The second part describes the ecological predicament faced with the sustainable development of colleges and universities, including the main ecological system structural imbalance in the universities and colleges, showing that the nature of ecological main body is not clear, lacking of characteristics of the colleges and universities’ development orientation, irrationality of setup of the colleges and universities’ majors;Facing the frequently changing policy, economy and culture etc. external environment causes the universities and colleges difficult to adapt to, the interaction mechanism imbalance of the universities and colleges main body of ecology and the external ecological environment,restricts the sustainable development of colleges and universities.The third part puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the sustainable development of universities and colleges. First of all, the universities and colleges should establish and perfect modern universities and colleges’ system to avoid excessive dependence on external environment to produce "flowerpots effect"; Secondly, based on the "moderate" principle to adjust the enrollment scale to improve the ecological capacity of higher education system. Thirdly,follow the "law of limiting factor",the government should increase investment in education funding in colleges and universities to allocate the educational resources rationally; Finally, in order to optimize university structure in different ecological areas of ecological education,make use of the "edge effect" to promote the balance of ecological interaction mechanism of the ecological main body of universities and colleges with ecological environment and realize the sustainable development of colleges and universities in the end.
