Along with the new curriculum reform, geographical College Entrance Examination(CEE)proposition changed the traditional "based on the conception of knowledge" propositional form in the past, gradually transformed into "based on the conception of ability" and focus on examining students’ ability in geography. Physical geography curriculum in high school is an important part not only it is the key and difficult point in high school geography teaching, but also in the college entrance examination accounted for a considerable proportion. With the continuous development of CEE, exam to text students’ ability is become more and more important. How to change the physical geography in CEE is a worthy of consideration and discussion.Anhui Province has started the CEE paper fully independent since 2009, since the independence proposition, the physical geography knowledge has taken a big part in Anhui CEE paper and become one of the most important part. This paper take the Anhui Province CEE paper from 2009~2014 natural geography questions as the research object. Based on the education science and psychology theory, the geography curriculum theory and teaching theory, educational measurement study and evaluation of theory as the support, through the literature analysis method, statistical analysis method, statistical comparison research methods on natural geographical portion of the exam test content, test forms and test difficulty and the ability to examine the characteristics of in-depth analysis and study, so as to come up with this point of view. This paper divided into five parts. Part I: Introduces the research background and significance, research status at home and abroad, the research purpose and content, ideas and methods, the definition of the core point of view. Part II: Analyzed physical geography questions, score, the proportion, distribution section, knowledge of statistics, and analyzed the characteristics of knowledge test. Part III: This part is the most important in this paper. At first, making an interpretation for the ability of the Ministry of Education and the examine of the geography syllabus requirements, then the ability of the four required syllabus for detailed statistics, and thus the ability to sample questions for the assessment of in-depth analysis. Part IV: According to the conclusion of this article to make predictions on the knowledge test questions and the ability to examine and draw inspiration for the CEE, high school teaching, students’ studying. Part V: The conclusion of the paper.
