| Employment is an important way to the women’s access to economic rights and social status and self-realization. Employment insurance system should not be gender-neutral, it needs to review whether men and women can share the social development of welfare gains. With the development of modern society, lots of women breaking the trad itional concept and entering the labor market. They are eager to have the equal rights of employment and other social welfare as the same as men, so they can enjoy the achievements of social development equally. Therefore, the further research of female employment security have an important theoretical and practical significance for women’s development, social harmony and stability.The perspective of gender is based on the research of gender theory, different from the trad ition sex perspective. It stresses the social differences between male and female based on natural d ifferences, and strives for gender mainstreaming, and achieves gender justice ultimately. From the perspective of gender, in this paper, the female emp loyment security as the research object, the statistical data analyze the current situation and problems of female emp loyment security in Henan province from government and non-governmental organizations. The problem is employment discrimination, lacking of labor protection, the lower degree of social security, the lower level of employment, and the greater risk of laid-off and so on. By analyzing the cause of the problem, the paper puts forward the concept and system policy suggestions for Henan province female emp loyment security reform. The concept of aspect includes the transformation of economic development mode, gender mainstreaming into the social security reform, affirmation the social value of female labor and birth, promoting the formation of independent and multip le concept of employment. System aspect involves standardizing labor market, improving the female employment security legis lation, strengthening the government responsibility in social insurance, providing education resources, and establishment of a female employment security legal aid system and so on. |
