| Under the background of Specialized Standard for Teachers, by adopting the methods of documentation, questionnaire, experts interview,mathematical statistics,case analysis, etc., this thesis chooses six institutions of higher learning, which have established Physical Education Major, as the subjects, and chooses teachers in institutions of higher learning, teachers in secondary and primary schools, and the junior and senior students of PE major as the respondents. This thesis summarizes the reforming mode of students cultivation of PE major in our country, finding that the mode of cultivating expertise and all –rounder should be developed with the time. The thesis tries to find out the dilemma with witch the mode of students cultivation reforming is faced.By combining the concrete demands and policies that put forwarded by the Education Department, the thesis tries to figure out the deficiency of the mode of students cultivation in Guangxi, aiming at analyzing the goal of students cultivation, the size of students cultivation, the curriculum setting and teaching practice, etc.. The author strives to put forward some new thoughts about the mode of students cultivation of the institution of higher learning in Guangxi in order to help to cultivate inter-disciplinary talents in the field of PE who can adjust to the demands of the society.Furthermore, the author tries to provide actual bases and theoretical support for the reforming of the mode of PE students cultivation in Guangxi institutions of higher learning. The author puts forward the following new thoughts:1. Abutment the practice base for students cultivation and payattention to the demand of market. 2. Carry out the credit system and improve the flexibility of students cultivation. 3. Attach the importance of practice and improve the ability of practice. 4. Tamp the basic skills and strengthen the qualification identify. 5. Intensify the reform and promote students’ overall development. 6.
