As an emerging sport, aerobics was introduced into China in the early 1980 s of the 20 th century. It was firstly introduced in the school sports teaching. As one of the main content of college sports teaching and extracurricular campus culture activities, it was widely carried out in China's colleges and universities. Charactering with rich artistic, highly appreciation, scientific fitness, varied forms, simply facilities requirement, wide applicability of the crowd, Aerobics has gradually infiltrated from school sports to nationwide fitness. With the rapid development of aerobics, it puts forward higher requirements for the training scale and specifications of the aerobics talents in University. Major of physical education, which set by Institute of physical education in Colleges and universities, is to train the talents of future school physical education, mass sports backbone and guidance personnel. Mastery of aerobics knowledge and ability training of the student are closely related to the ability of talents demand. Ability to design aerobics is the top priority of the capacity requirements in many of the aerobics ability demands. So, ability to design aerobics should caused the attention of major of physical education in universities and colleges. Because it not only is the basic skill that the student should have but also reflects the comprehensive level of aerobics education of the university sports education.Literature method, investigation, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and other research methods are all used in this study. Combining the characteristics and the value of the major of physical education in colleagues and universities, taking the cultivation of college students' ability to design aerobics as the subject, present situation and problems of the cultivation of students' ability to design aerobics in Henan Province university are researched and analyzed in this study. On the basis of the research and analysis, countermeasures and suggestions are put forwarded to the cultivation of students' ability to design aerobics in universities and colleges of Henan province. The research conclusions are as follows:1. Present situation of the cultivation of students' ability to design aerobics in Henan Province universities and colleges:(1) The cultivation of students' ability to design aerobics includes many aspects. However, the elements of ability to design aerobics are not comprehended completely by the teachers and students in universities and colleges of Henan.(2) Seven universities in physical education aerobics teaching objectives are researched, the settings of specific goal are lacked in teachings of ability to design aerobics in the major of physical education.(3) Education and cultivation of theoretical knowledge, music accomplishment and aesthetic ability are lacking in the teaching process.(4) Teachers mainly use the collective teaching method, demonstration method, task driven method to cultivate the students' ability to design aerobics, but less to use practical game teaching method, increasing circulation method, the heuristic teaching method.(5) Evaluation index design and specialized evaluation for ability to design aerobics are lacked in evaluating aerobics academic achievement of the students, thus, it is unable to effectively guide the students to take the initiative to improve their ability of producing aerobics.2. Problems and reasons of the cultivation of students' ability to design aerobics in physical education major in Colleges and Universities of Henan Province:(1) Due to the lack of comprehensive, accurate understanding of the composing elements of ability to design aerobics, teachers of Aerobics are unable to choose comprehensive and reasonable content of training. So the oretical knowledge and creating technology teaching are lacked in the process of cultivating.(2) Due to the lack of sufficient awareness of content and importance of ability to design aerobics, students of aerobics do not pay enough attention to related in the process of self education and training.(3) For lacking of cultivation design of ability to design aerobics in teaching objectives of aerobics, the students are not obtained consciousness cultivation of ability to design aerobics in the teaching process.(4) Due to many subjective and objective reasons existing in teaching process of aerobics. such as aerobics class, some teachers lack the aerobics teaching level is low, causing students to aerobics technology learning is not comprehensive, the material master is not complete, skill training is not enough system, thereby affecting the students ability of Aerobics promotion.(5) Part of the teachers can not give effective guidance and reasonable training methods, which causes students lost a lot of opportunities to practice and cultivate their ability to design aerobics.(6) Because of the lacking of the special design of evaluation index of the ability to aerobics in teaching evaluation system, the cultivation of ability to design aerobics for students is also lost.3. Optimized countermeasures to the cultivation of the students' ability to design aerobics in universities and colleges of Henan province:(1) Teachers and students should enhance learning of the basic theory of the ability to design aerobics to improve professional knowledge, grasp the characteristics of aerobics, the elements and methods of the design of aerobics. Thus laying a theoretical basis for the cultivation of ability to design aerobics.(2) By using a wide range of teaching methods to strength the cultivation. For, example, multimedia teaching, packet creation practice, held self gymnastics competitions, observation, discussion etc.(3) Reforming the assessment methods, innovating evaluation process.(4) Strengthen efforts to train creative elements, strengthen students to enhance the material accumulation and ability of the students' ability to design aerobics.(5) Carry out more practical activities of design of aerobics, improving the students' consciousness of creating competition.(6) Establishing and improving the ability of evaluation system, stimulate students' enthusiasm and passion of the design of aerobics.
