Behaviorism, social learning and exchange theory are of the view that:human behavior is often influenced and controlled by external conditions, by external pressure and some external factors that we did not realize. People’s development and mature, has always been in the interaction of the external and internal environment. Environmental impact on personal growth is huge, the growth of teachers is also subjected to the environment. The school environment is not only the teachers’ working field to educate and teach, but also the ecological environment for teachers realize and develop themselves. Therefore, the school’s ecological environment is an important field of influencing teachers’ growth. The complexity of school environment make it easy to single, one-sided analyze its influence on teachers’ growth, but we can avoid such problems effectively by using related ecology theory to analyze. This study is proceeded to treat the school environment as an ecological environment system, with using the viewpoint and method of system, we can comprehensively investigate how each element in the school environment system influence the teachers who is the ecological subject. And then draw out important factors of influencing the growth of rural teaches, and put forward some feasible improvement measures according to actual situation of the school. The thesis mainly consists of six parts:The first part is introduction which including brief introduction of the study’s origin, analysis and summary of existing research, definition of related concepts, and brief description of this study’s significance and design. The second part, the ecological environment theory which is the theoretical basis of this study will be described in detail. As a scientific concept, ecology’s intension refers to an organic whole which formatted to a certain relationship between biological and environment. That is to say the ecology is the living space and state where is composed of biological and its survival non-biological. In a certain range of time and space, not only between biology and biology, but also biology and non-biology interact and interdependent through continuous material circulation and energy flow, which formed the ecological system. It is one of the most important functional unit in the nature. Ecology principle is an important part of ecology, and the basic ecological thought throughout the ecology are ecosystem and ecological balance. School ecological environment is a small environment of influencing rural teachers’growth, which play an irreplaceable ecological value in the process of growth. The third part is about teacher A and teacher B’s growth status. First, giving overall description of teacher A and B’s image. Then, showing the growth status of teacher A and B from two aspects of material and spiritual. Whether in the material life or in the life, teacher A’s pressure is higher than teacher B’s.The fourth part is about teacher A and B’s school ecological environment. It’s mainly describe the school’s current status from six aspects, which are school’s physical environment and teachers’salary, school’s education and research, teachers’training, school’s leadership, school’s interpersonal atmosphere and school teachers’work content. The purpose is trying to present the status of two schools’ecological environment clearly. The fifth part is to show the differences between teacher A’s and B’s growth and between their corresponding school ecological environment. Firstly, summarize the differences between the two teachers following three aspects. One is the different growth results. Teacher A’s educational knowledge is richer than teacher B’s, teacher A’s educational concept is newer than teacher B’s, teacher A is more skillful than teacher B, teacher A’s happiness is lower than teacher B’s. Two is the different need hierarchy during the process of growth. Teacher A’s satisfaction degree of social need and respect need are lower than teach B’s. Teacher A’s satisfaction degree and desire degree of self-realization need are higher than teacher B’s. Three is the differences of growth momentum. Teacher A’s growing momentum is stronger than teacher B’s. Teacher A’s growth motivation is aimed to satisfy the need of self-actualization, and teacher B’s motivation is to maintain the existing need hierarchy of social and respect. Then using the ecology theory to analyze the differences of school ecological environment and teacher growth ecologically. Also this study expounds the effect of various ecological factors in the ecological environment on the teacher growth. Finally, there are some new discoveries about Y school ecological environment influent teacher B’s growth. Lacking of teacher training is the first main factor influencing teacher B’s growth, the job content is multifarious is the second largest factor, and the poor campus is the third major factor. The sixth part is to propose some countermeasures to improve B school’s ecological environment to promote teacher B’s growth on the base of the new discoveries in the fifth part. One hand is to increase teachers’ training opportunity, the other hand is to separate teaching administration to guarantee teachers’ time, third, the last is to improve the teaching facilities and beautify the rural school and so on.
