Career Planning Curriculum Research For Nursing Undergraduates

Objective: This research is aimed at developing a curriculum of career planning for nursing undergraduates. It delicates to explore a reasonable mode for developing the curriculum of nursing career planning as well as a scientific scheme for career planning curriculum.Methods: Both literature research and interviews(students and experts are interviewed) are applied to the study as integrated research methods following the principle of "from bottom to top"(from nursing undergraduate to nurse specialists) development path. Results: A career planning curriculum with the structure of course name, course objectives, course contents, alternative selection of teaching staff and teaching methods and course assessment is obtained.Conclusion: Reference is provided for similar study by this research in the future with the significance of arousing nursing undergraduates’ career planning awareness, acquiring the ability of career planning for nursing undergraduates.
